Hi,  My name is Aaron.  I bought my first car,  a 1987 Monte Carlo SS in 98 when I was 14.  It had been a dream car since I was young, but just old enough to know my cars.  I restored it and turned it into a "Hot Rod" with a performance 350,  custom Torch Red paint that I did myself, and many other mods.  I had the back lifted with air shocks,  side exhaust, and some other stuff trying to resemble a 70s muscle car.  My first show I got a 2'nd place trophy in my class.  Of course once I finished it it got sort of boring.  For about six months I was checking the Auto Traders seeing what they had.  I really liked the 70s muscle cars.  That's when I found the Cutlass.  I got a good deal on it,  and there's lots of stuff that I can do to it so I should keep busy for a while.

Cutlass Stuff

Plans:  Finish interior restoration: new headliner, and the back seat covered to match the Camaro seats.  I may do a custom cloth interior  (Click here to see the Custom Center Console I'm Fabricating)

New tires.  The same BFG Drag radial 275/15R60s in rear but BFG Touring T/A 225 or 245/15R50s in front

Make air cleaner box to force air in.

Make center console.  I want to make it out of aluminum with area for the radio, switches (fuel shut off,  alternator disconnect, ect.), cutout around Hurst Dual Gate shifter, and cup holders.

Maybe a set of digital gauges,  they would be down the road

Attend college (WyoTech University studying Collision/Refinishing,  Street Rod & Custom Fabrication,  Custom Trim & Upholstery,  Custom chassis,  Hi-performance engines,  and Applied Service Mgt.),  and hope to be able to afford to put gas in it.

I have a new dash and interior panels.  The seats are from a '95 Camaro.  I'm planning on a Custom interior I'll so myself when I attend College learning how.  Until then I'll throw something over the rear seat and leave the windows up at shows.

I finished the trunk with splatter paint on the sides and vinyl on the floor.  I mounted the new Kenwood 6x9" speakers in the back and 5.25" in the kick panels.

450hp 455 big block.  The hood scoop is functional and I made it forced air (Last pic).  I will make something more "professional" in the future.
